Fun but slightly overrated. Spoilers

LEt me start of by saying I dont know much about Anime, outside of the few Manga movies I watched as a kid (Akira, Doomed Megalopolis, Fist of the North Star), So maybe the issues I have with this show are part and parcel of the genre itself, However whilst I love the characters and the main premise, I feel that they could have been executed slightly stronger, with more logic involved. Saitama is without doubt the strongest being we are aware of in this universe, which mimics ours in terms in hero worship and the level of video/internet footage covering everyday life. It annoys me how he somehow is anoymous and gets called a cheat, where in real life there would be videos of him defeating the threats to life time and time again. Then you seem to have pointless things happen, like the meeting that was called when the fortune teller died. The association had no relevant information to pass on to the heroes, so what was the point including that in the episode? The writers should at least have had something significant too reveal, so that Im not sitting thinking what is the point of all this (which was just to have all the top heroes in one place for the alien attack)

All in all I enjoy this show greatly but it seems weak in some very important areas.
