the Strongest Being

so, Saitama is the strongest and more powerful than Goku and Kal-El(Superman)
not even he uses his 'super serious series'

reply

Satitama>Superman>>>>>>Goku

reply

saitama has a defect he can't breath in space (he can hold breath for a long time )

reply

if we put goku and saitama in a fight, i think saitama will beat his ass.
but as for record in ep12 what if he did'nt collide with
moon(that was just blind luck with neglegible probability), and travel endlessly in space.

reply

Probably not. He can't fly or survive in space. Both Goku and Supes can, and Superman can survive in space for thousands of years without the need of food or oxygen.

Then you have punching power. Gokus punches can leave small craters without touching the ground, though Saitamas have been more impressive. Superman can wipe out entire planets with the shockwaves from a few punches.

Uh, I just saw him flying in ep 10....

I just learned how to use the "Spoiler" button...

reply

I think he was just jumping super high there, he mentioned in an earlier episode that he cannot fly.

Even though Im no more than a monster - don't I, too, have the right to live? -Oh Dae-Su

reply

Both Supes and Goku would be laid out in one punch no contest.

reply

This, One punch man his power cant be tested, since he has no limits, NO LIMITS AT ALL.. Sure he cant breath in space, but one good punch and they both are blown to 1000000 pieces.. Even so, you cant compare them, since this is a comedy.. Its never ment to be serious

reply

Uh, he literally says he can't fly.

What would you call altering your trajectory in mid air with no outside influence? Because that's what I saw him do.

reply

So sky divers can fly because they don't fall straight down. Gotcha.

reply

"So sky divers can fly..." Do you even science, bro? Sky divers *fall* @ 126 feet per second, the use that speed to *slightly* alter there downward trajectory against the air they are traveling through. It's a completely different thing. Maybe Saitama *thinks* he can't fly, but the dude flew.

reply

What would you call altering your trajectory in mid air with no outside influence?

Seems like you'd call it falling, then.

reply

Okay, we have firmly established that you, in fact, most certainly do not science, bro. And based on that, there?s no point in continuing this.

reply

Perhaps he kicked so hard that the pressure of his kick changed his trajectory in mid air. But he does say specifically that he cant fly.
If you've seen the last episode His final attack to kill Lord Boros doesn't actually hit him, the sheer force of his "serious punch" was enough to obliterate him. So using the same logic, a kick in mid air would be enough to send him moving in a different direction.

reply

That's plausible... I guess my point is, I think the dude can fly because no matter how you slice it, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and 100 squats along with running 10 km every single day, and not using air conditioning does not account for him being the strongest being... therefore I hypothesize that there is some other source of his power other than training. That's why even though he himself says he cannot fly, whatever gives him that incredible strength, also allows him to fly, even though he isn't aware of it.

I just learned how to use the "Spoiler" button...

reply

Cant fly in terms of what you want, here is why:

Saitama CAN jump real high, run real fast, punch real hard etc
Saitama CANT shoot laser beams, control elements, fly etc

i think ONE intended it this way, Saitama is the HUMAN hero. He is more powerful than everybody but he is doing it as a 'normal' human, that's what cool about him.

In the scene where he jumps to the alien ship from the roof of HQ (im guessing you are referring to that in episode 10) imo he is clearly jumping and falling. The cinematography effect of a small object in front of the camera and a humongous object in the background might confuse you that he stays in place, but if you look at his cape its clearly showing his downwards movement.

PS. Here is the explanation of Saitama's power from ONE's original manga it pretty much explains everything:

Great counterargument to pointing out your flawed logic. I simply applaud you for going through the surgery to remove the 2 ribs.

reply

Yeah, it's called falling.

He can jump on air, duh!

reply

ONE said that Saitama's punch at 100% = big bang power

reply

Maybe, he's the strongest since ONE said once : "Saitama's 100 % power is Big Bang"
.. so even Celestials aren't big deals at all..
But there are some ways umm.. one way.. to defeat him..
Just put him in non-oxygen environment, but he can hold his breath for a long time, though..

reply

You're aware Celestials are multiversal, right?

He is the One Punch Man. Can't even make a pun because that's the title itself too. 
