This review isn't giving me a lot of hope for a stronger second season. Sounds like more of the same.

But I did see that John Barrowman is going to be in season two, so that, at least, is a good thing. .... for me, anyway: I love that guy ;o)

That's what we need - ridiculous odds, and just a speck of hope that someday, we'll beat it
