Although humanity went extinct in the end, for me the saddest moment in the film was when the hungries started running after the poor dog. Why do movie makers break my heart with these kind of scenes?:(

Rape, kill, torture any humans you want, but don't do anything to cats or dogs. That's just breaking the rules of cinema. Bad movie. Bad.
