120 million on that? Netflix could have made a proper hollywood blockbuster....or spent that money on a 10 part IT remake. Stranger things was 10 times better with a fraction of the budget. Huge mistake by netflix if it did actually cost 120 million.

Netflix is simply hitting it out the ball park. You want comedy, drama, music, The Get Down delivers. You want horror, bizarre, suspense, Stranger Things delivers. Honestly forget TV at this point.

But lets not forget that Stranger Things was kinda of a bet that Netflix did. The idea of the show was previously rejected by many other Channels before Netflix decide to give it a try.
NOW.. after all the success of Stranger Things... is expected that the next seasons are gonna have a bigger budget don't you think?
Now, on what concerns The Get Down... i liked the show.
I agree that Stranger Things is a better show overall. And i didn't really cared much for The Get Down when i started to watch it... but, it came through. IT delivered. It's a pretty cool show. I also want a second season of it. Of both Shows actually.
Stranger Things, House of Cards, Narcos... and The Get Down. My favorite (Netflix) shows.. on that order.

Oh,really? What an ignorant statement---but then, I'd expect that from a stupid idiot troll. You probably haven't even watched the show,like some of these fools complaining how much it costs. I've only seen the first 3 episodes, and it's actually pretty good and gets even better. I've heard of STRANGER THINGS---I think some folks only like STRANGER THINGS because it's the same old familiar supernatural theme---nothing original about it. THE GET DOWN is unique because there hasn't been a series yet that covers the history of the original creators of the hip-hop genre, and so now there's finally a show that's doing this, which, for an old- hip-hop head like myself, is really sweet. That's why I'm loving it, so all y'all haters can stick it,lol.
You do realize you don't have to watch it, and what's more, that's not your money Netflix spent on the show, you know that, right?
