Is There Going to be a Season Two in 2017?

Does anyone know if it was renewed for a second season?

They have but I'm not sure if it has been filmed or when it will air. I came onto this board to try and find out. Need some good drama to keep me occupied as we approach winter. Will update if I find anything out.

Scottish Kate :)

Thank you!

I'm experiencing some Peaky Blinders withdrawal. LOL I'm looking forward to Grace's ghost. LOL (not) Would we need Tatiana back for that? LOL

Did you see what the other poster wrote? That filming for Doctor Foster is halfway through for the next series/season? :) This is a story I want more of.

It's very, very dark, but have you seen "The Fall" with Gillian Anderson? It's great on many levels.

I am missing Peaky and can't wait to see what the next series will bring. Apparently it will become Tommy and Polly's story, no doubt there will be fireworks!

Doctor Foster is so good, Suranne Jones is an amazing actress. Just finished the Fall and loved it, Stella and Paul are brilliant adversaries. I've just been over on that board and there is some interesting views to say th least.

I'm watching the Missing at the moment and it's good, it might be something that you would like. Do you have any recommendations as I'm running out of good tv?

About Dr. Foster:

I've never seen her before but her acting blew me away!

To Scottish Kate: (and to anyone interested)

OMG! I went and looked. (closing my eyes now) Kudos to you for your amazing diplomatic skills. :) I'd missed your posts... I'm re-watching it, too.

I haven't seen "Missing." I'll check it out.

TV differs, place to place so I'm not sure if you can get these. Or, do you mean on Netflix?

My recent favorite dramas... Tyrant. Where I live Muslims and in particular, Muslim women, are kind of "one-note" so I was fascinated by the variety depicted in Tyrant.

ETA: Correction and apologies... I meant the depictions of Muslims are "one-note," not the people themselves.

I would describe it as intense, addictive and surprising. I thought the conversations in Tyrant were ones I'd like to hear going on everywhere... but people are too afraid.

There's one that just began called, "Chance" with Hugh Laurie, 3 episodes so far. It deals with multiple personality disorder but there's more going on than that. I can't say more or I'd spoil it.

Are you a The Blacklist fan? It's got the case of the week kind of structure but it also weaves the cases together over a multi-season arc. Like a tapestry or a very ornate puzzle. Identities, timing, memories, secrets and lies... it's quite the mystery. Plus, its got James Spader. :)

I can't believe I'm saying this but my favorite new drama is "The Exorcist." I'm not a fan of horror BUT... it starts out intriguing and shocking and then it gets crazy good. I'm fascinated by the psychological and moral/ethical questions it confronts. It stars Geena Davis and the cast is very good. It has a strong artistic style. Oh, and never have I seen such a depiction of nuns being so bad azz with their love.

So, if you asked me to pick one... it's The Exorcist. Completely unexpected.

Im going to stop reading the Fall board as it makes my head want to explode. People can be so petty and judgemental.

I'll give the Exorcist a try even though aim not too good with horror :-). The Blacklist sounds like something I would love shows with mysteries and puzzles. We seem to have the same taste in shows so I'm sure I'll enjoy them.

I look forward to speaking to you soon on the Peaky board :-)

Yes, they are currently about halfway or a bit more than halfway through filming the second series.

It will air in early 2017.

I don't see why they need a second season. I can't imagine what else needs to be shown.
