I fully expected him to be arrested. He deserved it for:
1. Illegaly investing in his company
2. Forging his wifes name on the refinance documents
3. Assaulting his wife
I was shocked that after everything, Gemma didnt try to put him in jail.
I did, too, but remember, the scheme Gemma worked out required the project to be completed. She could blow the whistle on her husband for all of those things, but if he goes to jail she never recovers her money because its all tied up in the project.
Not getting prosecuted for assaulting his wife seems the hardest part, but Gemma was probably complicit in whatever lie got told -- I was so angry and agitated, I turned and walked into the door, I wasn't hit, no charges please.
