Me, too! He is so rude & acts like a total prick 99% of the time. I did like him a tad bit on the last episode when he actually acted like a human saying something semi-nice about the little girl with Williams syndrome.

I've only seen this actor in a few roles & he's been a jerk every time. I even posted on his page that he may be a nice guy in real life but I have a feeling he's not, lol.

Actually, he was great on Elementary. He was an empathetic character to Sherlock.

It takes a sick mind for someone to keep replying to your posts when you said they're on ignore.

It's often the opposite. Those who play the biggest as shole or best bad guys are usually the greatest people in real life. Simply because they're playing the complete opposite of themselves.

Anyway, I think the actor tends to play very dignified/proud characters. Sometimes that can come off as egotistical if the characterization isn't allowed to be balanced which I think is the case here. We're just not given enough insight into the Latham character. He's a little one dimensional. Though, I think they're going for his having some kind of social anxiety/awkwardness or maybe even something like Asperger's Syndrome, as opposed to just being a standard prick.

Regardless, I also thought he was great in Elementary and Copper. Not at all jerks. But then he got more air time on those shows.

I don't trust people who don't like pets and I don't trust people who pets don't like.

Well he's an anti-social person. He even stated "I'm not good with people" and as far as we can tell he's possibly a genius when it comes to medicine. Those two things combined and you have a douche but more often than not they don't mean to be.

Best character on the show, glad he was brought on.

Glorious glory

If you hate him, the actor must really be doing a good job

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups

I felt the same way when I started watching the show but then I learned he had autism so I really don't think its his fault its just how his brain is wired. I honestly felt really bad for him in season 2 episode 11 when the nurses were being mean to him :(
