Season 5 Episode 3 "Mou Mou"

Even though this episode barely revolved around the actual Royal family, except for a few parts, this is probably my favorite episode so far. I have 3 episodes left that I hope to finish tonight but I still can't stop thinking about this one. I know nothing of the royal family and the connections. I was 15 when Diana died and knew the name Dodi Al-Fayed but knew nothing of his history.

the story of Mohamad Al-Fayed was so engaging and interesting. And I loved seeing him grow into prominence and how he did it. The story between him and Sydney Johnson from him firing him out of prejudice to taking him on to learn how to be English to becoming real friends. When Mohamad comes in with the tea when Sydney is sick, OMG; tears.

I also liked his scene with Dodi during the filming of 'Chariots of Fire' where he was showing his prejudice again and Dodi explains it in a way that he can relate to and then how proud he was when the film won the award.

And the whole restoration of the French mansion belonging to the Duke of Windsor was also really cool. Even though he had alterior motives, I love that there was also a sense of 'doing it for Sydney' because it meant so much to him. The pride Sydney felt restoring the Duke's box and the hurt he felt when the entourage took everything so unceremoniously. Only to have Mohamad shrug it off as at least making the queen happy. All just really good moments.

Now, again, I don't know much about him and may do some reading tonight. I also don't know what role he may play in the next 3 episodes: if any. But just from the one episode, it was just my favorite. Really moving and interesting. I don't normally watch episodes over; I just never see a reason to, but I may watch this one again after finishing the season.

Diana was killed by the British deep state , cause she wanted to marry a Muslim.
The british deep state can never accept that the next king of England , the head of the English church , William , will have Muslim half brothers.
