You get a series full of story, lyrical etiquette, fine music, interesting characters, unique directing and a luxurious retro production. Xoxo is a music movie better suited for the trash can it belongs in. Just a glorified hype train with no real substance.

The Get Down is excellent. Fictional characters and stories but placed in a very authentic depiction of what the scene was really like. A series overseen by people who were actually pioneering figures in dance music and DJ culture.
