terrible ending (spoiler of course)
WTF. Could they be any more blatant that they hoped to make a sequel to this story? That's fine, but jeez, come up with a better resolution to a 5-hour story than your protaganist just running away across a field. At least have some kind of coda; it really felt like they ran out of time and someone just said "ok, that's our alloted amount of time--just fade out here with our hero running somewhere. The end."
