Just finished it (spoilers)

I thought this was was one of the best paced shows of all time. Super consistently funny every episode, and didn't go on too long. When the emotional bits came it was earned and very satisfying, and at times it really makes you think about philosophy, morals, ethics, spirituality, love, purpose and peace. I feel generally great after having finished the show. It ended just right, with everyone flowing back into the ocean of the universe, and the viewer still left with the unknown. It didn't try to make any big statement, but it just was. I'm really glad they decided to end it after 4 seasons. It was interesting that a show that centers on people who are dead the entire time was still able to create a further level of finality without actually declaring or defining it. Everything just was, is, and will be.

Shortly before TGP came out I was thinking, "It'd be great if there was a show that was funny, but revealing deep truths or making you think, and where you could watch any episode and enjoy it for itself, but also there was an ongoing plot and constantly-raising stakes."

Then a friend recommended this show and I was like, "Oh, yeah, like that."

I loved that they were always going somewhere with it. It felt like it was designed with purpose from the start. The finale was such an emotionally good one. It was the only episode I didn't really find that funny, but I also felt like they earned it.

Was, is, and will be...for all of Jeremy Bearimy...

I've rewatched it a few times now. Knowing the twists and turns of the storyline, a rewatch of season one in particular is almost mandatory. You pick up SO MUCH stuff.

I also recommend finding some behind the scenes stuff on youtube.

This one is BIG SPOILERS for anybody who hasn't seen the programme, but great fun for anybody who's watched past at least season one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi-J5QyF4hU

That's a good clip. That's how I felt at the end of season one too.

It blew my mind. I've seen other people react to that finale on youtube videos and it's always a mind-blower.

SEASON ONE WAS EXCELLENT...THE QUALITY DEEP DIVES INTO THE TOILET STARTING WITH SEASON 2.

I liked it too. I must say when I was watching it the first time around I felt like something weird was up with it and things were not going to be what they seemed. But I enjoyed trying to figure out what was the trick. The fourth season seemed like the payoff and wasn't as funny as the first two, but I think we have to be willing, as viewers, to accept that when a show is tying things up for its exit, that at some point the suspense or tension will be lessened, and that point will probably not be as late as the last few moments. A good, interesting show, will have a lot of loose threads to tie off and I appreciate it when they take the time to clear things up properly. So I was happy with the show as a whole and the first season is probably one of the most memorable things I've seen on tv.
