Carolyn Bryant Donham, the woman whose accusation against Emmett Till led to his lynching, has died at the age of 88. She died in Louisiana, where she'd been living quietly and receiving end of life care. Donham accused Till of wolf-whistling at her in 1955 in Mississippi when he was 14 and she was 21. The allegation - which has never been proven nor disproven - triggered her husband and brother-in-law to kidnap Till, beat him senselessly and savagely, and lynch him. His death, and his mother's insistence that his brutalized remains be shown in an open casket, remains a defining image of the deep racism that penetrated America's South in the 1950s.

Because he did it. Even his friends back that up, while no one can back up the nonsense claims of the mama and "historians" who tried to retcon it 30 years later

Literally everything Simeon Wright said. You know it's 2023, right? I find it hilarious that Till's side is still dumb enough to play that, he dindu nuffin, he was good boy routine, when the punishment for what he really did is enough for sympathy. But nope, gotta always pretend like they're all lil angels buying skittles (not skittles for lean). This is why the movie failed and everyone has extreme fatigue to the point of TND being the only solution

FACT: Simeon Wright never collaborated Carolyn Bryant's false accusations. Prove me wrong.

He said Till wolf-whistled, which scared Wright because he knew why this was a problem. So that's it. The lie about alleviating a stutter with a whistle makes anyone who says that, A LIAR and a really stupid one at that.
