Ashton Kutcher's chewing tobacco is distracting

And pretty disgusting habit. I'm surprised the directors allow him to act with it in his mouth.

Well he is a former football player and grew up on a ranch. Pretty much says the character had a 95% chance of doing chewing tobacco between the two of them.

reply

I don't think this is for his character, as Ashton chews in real life as well.

reply

It's really big league chew bubble gum.

reply

I love it. I think it compliments the character. Oddly quirky because you rarely see people chewing tobacco on screen or in real life.

reply

It's a farelly accurate portrayal. That's like saying Johnny Depp was annoying because he was snorting cocaine in the movie Blow

That's a good comparison. I grew up on a farm and most the boys I grew up with had to try it at some point. One got cancer and lost his jaw so most of them quit at that point. I don't like, don't like seeing it but won't stop watching it because of it. It is a habit to many country boys like.
Plus that *beep* is just gross. Don't even get me started on the chew cups and kissing.

He's got herpes!

It is very accurate for rural Colorado. You still see a lot of men with the round mark on their jeans back pocket from the chew can.
