They did a lot of character development for someone who disappeared and didn't add too much to the story. Maybe he will have more of a part of the story in the next season if it happens. I liked the character for the little we saw of him.

Totally agree. I think the story got so busy near end the writers just dropped that subplot for lack of time. I just read however that Amazon has renewed the series for a second season so likely we will see some followup on the parole officer.
He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.
I actually hope he isn’t part of the next season, assuming we get one. His character was pretty damn annoying, and not in an interesting or functional way.

Exactly. I did at first think, however, that it was the parole officer at the very end, which would have been a nice touch.
