Craig

He was amazing in this movie!

reply

Haha yeah I bet he'll bag a nomination

The way he tried to call Maddy on facetime was so realistic. I wonder if he studied method acting. And then later when he called back, that was peak performance.

reply

Really? I felt like his performance was pretty phoned in.

Buh dum tiss!

Sorry.

Craig has the distinction of being one of the few blacks guys to survive a horror movie.

Haha!!

Absolutely, Craig phone call has an important part the movie, the intensity of the ringtone, the expression of he's face in the picture avatar... and what a surprise scene when he called back, I guess no one could have foreseen that. What a great actor!

and what a surprise scene when he called back

My favorite piece of trivia about Hush is that originally Craig DIDN'T call back. The actor accidentally hit the dial button on his computer. That's why Maddie's look of panic and surprise when he calls is so genuine. Due to budget limitations they didn't want to reshoot the scene, so they left it in as is. Many people cite the Craig-callback as one of the best parts of the whole movie, not even knowing that the scene was just a happy accident.

I think that the Craig callback ranks as one of my favorite ever actor improvised moments--right up there with Dustin Hoffman's "I'm walkin' here!".

Why did I chuckle so hard at this!!! LOL!!!!

Im just hoping for the sequel that focuses on Craig's perspective of the events.

-Craig chilling at home. Kind of bored. Texts booty call #3: deaf girl he met at bookstore.
-No response.
-She facetimes him! He misses it by a second, but calls back.
-No response.
-He tries again, but no response.
-Craig chills awhile and watches a movie. He calls again, but her phone is turned off.
-Craig gets blasted on wine coolers and passes out on couch.
