I get that the killer cut the power and the movie was held at night time and it was suppose to be dark but at times it was so dark that I couldn't even tell what was going on.

I'm watching it in the dark right now for this very reason. Can't see *beep* and it's a good movie!!

adjust your settings, then, cause it wasn't dark at all

it was basically staring at a black screen for an hour
