Maybe this is going deeper than intended in the movie, but how awful are their second lives?

1. How is Jim Hudson planning to make it so he still has his wealth and gallery when he is a 20 something Black man not related to him? Does he put Chris Washington in his will? Are people supposed to retrospectively believe they were lovers or something?

2. Dean's parents still have their rich old friends (who attend the auction) but do they hang out with them? Eventually this whole racist cult is going to be Black? But with their money?

3. They can't have relationships with Black people except each other because they don't understand the Black experience at all. As Chris said, it's like "they missed the movement." They don't seem happy, even when it's supposed to be "them" and not the remnant of their host's personality. Maybe people will say, beats dying. I dunno. And of course they couldn't have known what it would be like.

When there isn't a victim around do "Walter" and "Georgina" still act like servants around their son and his family? Or do they kick back and watch reruns of The Lawrence Welk show together?

4. Doesn't brain tissue age too? Maybe more slowly, and from the family photo it seems the grandparents were alive maybe 15 years ago, but could they really be immortal or just live significantly longer this way?

I know IT'S JUST A MOVIE and on a deep level it's NOT about these's white people's experience either, which is actually a good thing for a change. Maybe to the extent you are supposed to think about the grandparents' it is just about racism warps white people too.

1. Pay a solicitor/accountant enough money to figure it out.

2. Choosing black people might not last forever. Black was trending.

Maybe they could trade up to a young whitey later on if fashions change or it gets too suspicious.

3. Re: not appearing happy.. saying as little as possible in front of strangers keeps it secret. With no outsiders around they probably chillax.

4. I wasn't clear on the whole brain transplant. It seemed part of the black host was still present but dormant, which suggests their brain tissue was being piggy backed.
