Maybe. At other points, they refer to her brother as having a different "wrangling method." To me, it kind of implies that they each have sort of a "quota" to meet, but how they do so is up to their choosing, playing to their strengths

Of course it's generally easier for a girl to catch a guy's interest than the other way around, so she chose that as her way. Not to dis the actor who played her brother, but the way they did him up for this movie, he's not very attractive, and even when he's trying to be friendly, he gives off a creepy vibe. So I doubt he has a line of women going for him, so he has to have a different method.

judging from how they were "ok" with abducting people and performing brain transplants on them, I don't find that surprising.

She really didn't seem to mind.
