Looks interesting, but Brolin again?

Avengers, Deadpool2 and now this. Nothing against the guy he's a great actor but this is too much Brolin. I'm expecting he'll be revealed as the secret member of Ocean's 8 by the end of this weekend :)

I’ll concur only if he is in a movie where all ze characterz r played by him ala Eddie Murphy.

Norbit is a classic.

This is how I feel about the Rock these days. Seems like the guy is in like every other movie that gets released this summer....ridiculous already.

I agree, but I don't get annoyed when seeing him in Sicario because he was in the first film (which I instantly saw in the cinemas) and this is a natural follow on. For me, he is out of place in the other films you mentioned.

Do you know the order in which Brolin became committed to his roles in sicario 2, deadpool and avengers?

reply

Well, you could skip the kids movies and focus on the good stuff, although Sicario 2 was just mediocre, as expected.
However, Avengers... Deadpool...really?

So because you enjoyed it more than I did I am not allowed to think it's mediocre?
Really now?

Your comment made me chuckle because this is almost exactly what my wife said about Michael Douglas by the end of the 1980s. "Michael Douglas over saturation" and "can we take a break from Michael Douglas" were two of her memorable lines. It took her a few years but she got over it, and now loves The Kominsky Method.
