Aaaand... It's On IMDb Top 250. Thoughts?

It's certainly going to fall, quickly! Gathering international attention is going to be counter productive for this film. International "audience" are going to down-vote it without a viewing just because it's a Bollywood film. Plus there's the issue of Ballot stuffing and non regular voters to some degree, for which, IMDB probably has certain 'measures' or 'weights' for Indian Films and, voters too for that regard. IMDB is cognizant of Indian voters being a little lenient and emotional while voting, which explains why it's 97-100 even though it's No. 1 in Indian 250. If it stabilizes in 6 to 7 months, it will stabilize at 210ish.

I think by passing time as users will vote for this movie, it has a great chance to remain in top 100. It is as the best movie made in Indian movie history. After release in China and Japan, this movie will get more attention and their is a hope for remaining in Top 100.

Deserves it!

I don't think this film warrants a place in the 100. But Tejas, check this out.

By no stretch of imagination do I think Shawshank deserves to be seated at 1. But despite being there, I kind of agree with it.

WHY? Because it appeals to many different kinds of people from different walks of life.

Similarly Dangal might appeal to more people from different walks of life.

Finding it in 100 is slightly absurd but then we are a billion people.
