Except its not...

Indeed. The first episode of season one was very good, but then it became pretentious twaddle over the course of the season. As someone stated in another thread, it's 90% style, 10% substance.

I just watched s02e01 and won't waste more of my time with this show.

Okay I'm back after being 17 minutes in to this episode and yeah...its...I have zero idea wtf is going on lol
But I also remember feeling the same way many times last season, until it started coming together towards the end, wrapping up in a way that seemed to bring it all together.
In the meantime though, this is pretty tedious...this better start making sense because I'm not about to spend another 5+ episodes wondering what the hell is going on.

Yes, there's too much good TV to watch for me to slog through the mess that is Legion, waiting for it to make sense.

I cant disagree with that assessment. Its quite ponderous and meandering in its cerebral abstraction. I like that its highly stylized, but its stylized so much so that there's an imbalance between the visuals and plot progression.

You're dead right. I wanted to like this show, I was even looking forward to it before it came out. I watched 6 episodes and I couldn't stand the whole inside the mind of this person, nothing is real or is it. It just seemed like a collection of random abstract scenes that out of context can make the show seem unusually interesting in a bizarre way, but it's not, it is just bizarre lol.
