Was that wedding clip from general hospital the same couple who got together after the man raped the woman in a bar? Remember seeing that on another show but not sure if it's the same two people.
shareYes, Luke and Laura from General Hospital. And nothing infuriates me more than fictional portrayals (because - face it - they'd *have* to be fiction) of women falling in love with their rapists. Rape has nothing to do with love, Rape is about violence and control.
I thought that was them. I can't believe they didn't mention anything about The rape! That must've been a big deal when the episodes aired I'm sure.
shareI'm sure a rape victim has fallen in love with a rapist in the past. After all, there's Stockholm syndrome with kidnap victims. Being in a situation where your life is threatened after being kidnapped may be just as traumatic as being raped.
