Season 2 comments + Fans wish-fulfilment?

Wtf are those space fights. They go full star wars? Motherships spawning little fighter, fights that take literally 50 minutes, little r2d2 robots?
Michael and Spock – argh I hate this – first every millisecond counts, then in the middle of the fight they suddenly have an ‘impactful’ moment where they relax and don’t give a fuck about time anymore.

The AI-Man Leyland dies – all AI controlled ships shut down (why the hell would the AI only copy itself into a single humanlike organism makes no sense)
Then: Discovery flies into the future with the data anyway. Well. I guess the problem ‘The data doesn’t let itself destroy’ still remains and it had to be solved.
Then they lie to Starfleet for not much reason. (Really, what is the reason)

I guess the second season was a kind of trying to wish fulfill for fans?:
- bringing Spock back, Spock shaving at the end
- bringing Enterprise back
- new ‘old’ uniforms come back
- ‘oh, no one can speak about Discovery and all it’s crew cause it’s top secret for some reason’ explanation for Discovery being never mentioned and especially Spock’s half-sister
- ‘AI tricked us with holograms so now we use 2d screens for some reason cause they surely cannot be faked’ explanation for going back to screens
