Eichmann wins by keeping Peter and Hanna apart
At the trial Eichmann smirks when he sees Hanna pregnant with another man. This is an insidious film which undermines the possibility of holding Eichmann to account. The last word of the film is "Napoleon" in response to the strange assertion "History doesn't remember the small people". This is mockery as Napoleon was the first fascist.
