My problem with this movie

My main issue with this movie is that it tries to look deeper and more meaningful, but it really isn't. It's not a character study, it's just a series of disturbing fragments. The black & white doesn't make it more subtle or anything. The main character is just a one-dimensional female Norman Bates that kills for fun and has a disturbing attachment to her dead parents. When she picks up the girl from the bar, you know what's going to happen. When she is in the car with the baby and his mother, you know what's gonna happen.

Maybe I had higher expectations or something, but I definitely didn't find it all that original. Good cinematography, but that's about it. Kinda reminded me of Goodnight Mommy which I also find overrated.
