After finally watching it...

Even though his Nevada sentence was to the max, and may have been excessive; I don't think Simpson deserves to be released this year. I think he's only been such a good prisoner, is all about his self preservation. He doesn't care about anyone or anything and he sure doesn't seen remorseful about anything. He's such a narcissistic piece of *beep* He's spent his entire life burying and papering over everything horrible he's ever done, and convincing himself that he's the victim.

The robbery and kidnapping sentence was excessive but considering he murdered two people and got away, hard to say what I think of this guy. He may be a nice guy who lights everyone up but this pathetic piece of crap is a murderer. And yes he has never shown remorse or regret from his side.

He will come out of jail in 2017 and start making appearances and signing items that will earn him good amount of money to enjoy his life.

If you watch his last parole hearing, he's not even remorseful about that. He still talks about how he and the thug friends of his were "getting my stuff", as if because he had legal ownership of the items (in itself questionable, because of the civil trial), he was justified in taking the law into his own hands, and it somehow separates him from other criminals in prison.

This is the exact arrogance the judge was highly critical of him at his trial. It's like nothing has changed in him.

Adding to the mess, Mike Gilbert didn't even sell the items OJ thought he did. Mike only sold more common memorbelia when he was at the end of his rope picking up after OJ's mess and helping OJ hiding things from auditors and trustees. The personal, big ticket items, like trophy, rings, etc. that OJ was upset about, they were sold off in a public auction when OJ didn't pay the bill on a storage unit.

The sad part is that the "stuff" OJ mentions, the memorbilia Gilbert sold, the items in the storage unit auctioned off - or at least the value of it or any money from it - should belong to the Goldman and Brown familes, and may have by law all along.
