i just saw it
before only saw the odd scene before switching over (even though its Ridley Scott), but tonight actually watched it all. like all of Ridleys stuff its classy and mesmerising with all kinds of deep meaningful stuff and dream like visuals etc you know what i mean i dont have to say it really..
seemed to be the odd throwback to previous Ridley films and themes.. the long lingering shot on the Colosseum, the close up on the statues, alot of the Italy stuff had similar look/feel to Hannibal or maybe The Councillor, the ear scene reminiscent of Alien chestburster, stuff like that
