cultural misappropriation

Leftists always whine about how brown-skinned people "don't get enough work" in Hollywood and TV. They also whine about the purported cultural appropriation of non-White culture by Whites. Well, this is my whine:

Why, and how, in the flying f!ck did a Nigerian get cast as the Jewish disciple Peter? Talk about cultural appropriation, where non-Whites are inaccurately cast in White roles - black "Jews", black/Mediterranean "Vikings", etc. This is outrageous tokenism and an insult to intelligent viewers as well as anyone with a genuine understanding of history.

Not to mention that Joaquin Phoenix looks simply awful as Jesus - messy, unkempt receding hairline, and the look of an aging, beat-up smoker. Not to mention that Jesus was crucified when he was about 32, while JP is 42!

What in Hell could the producers have been thinking? They must be high on the communal cultural marxist bong. Not to mention being blind as bats.
