Therefore me and my friends are within our rights to shoot cops!

That was the only part I didn't like about the movie. Seemed like a stretch that those security guys would be so quick to try and ambush the cops. I don't care what part of the country you're in, an act like that brings the heat like no other. They would've never gotten away with it and they had to know it.

That was certainly a 'suspend disbelief' moment...
Most thrillers seem to have one or two so i just go with it

Some people can get this kind of mentality... Especially security types who think they are GI Joe of their own domain...

So it's not that they actualky have jurisdiction, but they do think that they do, simply because they have uniforms, guns and they see this frontier, edge of society place as lawless...
