Any other movies similar to wind river

If you haven’t seen it already, check out Hell or High Water. It was written by Taylor Sheridan, who directed Wind River. Excellent crime drama set in the desert.

This Australian movie has some similarities, though snow is replaced by sand.
It might also be a bit slow in unraveling, but for me that's a plus.

Even though both these films were not set in the country side / wilderness, they are still crime dramas which keeps you guessing who the killer is until the end.

Hold the Dark (2018) had very similar atmosphere and setting. You would enjoy it if you liked this movie.
