I'm a big fan of Louis C.K. and Steve Buscemi..but come on. What kind of TV is this? Maybe if I made a dark "artsy" show I'll put on an 8.8 out of 10 on imdb.
This whole show was a commentary on the horrors of people like you. No wonder you hated it.
Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.
No, the show was made to expose fanboys who will shovel whatever crap people put out with mindless approval. This show was bad on purpose; the most expensive inside joke in the history of Tinseltown. This isn't darkly beautiful. It's cold and empty, and there is no shame in disliking it.
