I don't want to watch a TV show on my computer

Is there some way I can watch this on TV, like via my YouTube Roku app, or some such? I don't mind paying to see it, but I object to paying to see something that I have to watch alone, huddled over my computer. I would like to watch this on my couch, with my girlfriend, on my TV screen. I'm willing to pay for that experience. I'm not willing to pay to watch ANYTHING on my dang computer, however.

It's not just a streaming option.

You buy the episodes then you can download them.
There is 3 different sized files: SD, 720P or 1080P.

After that it belongs to you and there is then multiple options for where and how you can view it.

If you have an HDMI cable, you can plug your computer into your TV and watch it there. You could even burn the file onto a DVD and watch it that way. There are many options available.

It depends on what kind of TV you have and what devices. If you have a video game console like an Xbox or a Playstation then you can put the video file on a USB stick, and then stick the USB stick into the Playstation/Xbox. Most newer TVs have USB ports built into them so you could put the USB stick directly into the TV in that case.

There are also all sorts of devices and cables available at electronic stores. If your TV and computer both have a USB outlet then you can connect the computer and TV via USB cable.

Basically there are a lot of options.

I downloaded it, then plugged my HD into my BLu Ray player which lets me watch it on my TV.

Any computer and TV made in the past decade are compatible with each other. Buy an HDMI/DVI/VGA cable and plug your computer into your TV.

That made me laugh out loud. I had started to post almost the same thing, "Dad, is that you?"

I use the PLEX app on my Roku to watch the show on my TV. Just install Plex onto your computer and your Roku. Then you download videos to your computer and Plex allows you to stream them from your computer to your Roku via your home WiFi. It's pretty full-proof and easy to use...compared to when it first came out years ago.

...though things would be a few steps easier if Louis C.K. had his own Roku channel. I've made a handful of video and audio purchases from his website over the last couple of years and it would be nice to just link my account to a Roku app and stream it that way. Bah, who knows, maybe he reads these posts and we can get a Louis CK Roku channel some day soon. Then eventually Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV apps...fingers crossed

I put it on a thumb drive and plug that in to my TV if you have a USB port.
