Too self indulgent and I really love Louis CK
And I love ALL of these actors but the first episode was such a slog and I don't think this is his best writing ultimately. There was something so on the nose about all of it, and frankly a bit soap operaish and the pace was awful.
I recognize what he's going for but I felt like it didn't work. As well as the way it was shot was just so dull. Plays are filmed more dynamically than this.
Yeah, I was disappointed especially with how fantastic the cast is.
