Is it too early to call this one of the most brilliant modern series?

Truly unique style of writing, acting and shooting. Impossibly good combination of comedy and drama. This show needs to receive all kinds of awards. There is nothing on TV like Horace and Pete. It takes us to a whole new level of great series drama and moves into the threshold of transformative art. No other show has made me reflect on myself in the same way as Horace and Pete.

"End of Act I" gives me hope that we should get at least 10 more episodes, given a standard 3 act structure!

Someone mentioned a Louis C.K./Woody Allen comparison in the threads - a very apt one since both comedians manage to transcend their genre and medium of choice and create works of art.

Great show... Loved the real grit about the show.

I suppose it could have been a tad funnier and less serious but it wasn't really a comedy of sorts.

Loved it either way though.
