Awesome references and cameos (spoilers)

Wow, they really went all out for this one.

All the Avengers references were my personal favorites:
-Deadpool calling Cabel "Thanos" which was the funniest to me because it's actually him, calling Domino "Black black widow", calling Dopinder "Brown Panther", referring to himself as "Hawkeye" when he was stripped of his powers, and making a comment about Cabel's metal arm and calling him "The winter soldier". Every single one had me laughing in an I-can't-believe-they-went-there kind of way.
The unexpected cameos (I didn't watch the trailer) were a nice touch that made this movie much more special to me such as Brad Pitt as The Vanisher, and those who only had a few minutes on screen before being killed off like Bill Skarsgård as Zeitgeist, and my favorite Terry Crews as Bedlem. They made the movie that much more enjoyable to watch.
Now, can someone please explain that damn post-credits scene to me and how its relevant to the next X-men movie? I would very much appreciate it.

I was hoping Terry Crews' character would make it. But I do agree. This movie had a lot of funny scenes.

Favorite references. Where do I even begin? So many fantastic ones, it’s difficult to single out any of them (the Marvel and DC stuff is genius). This sequel doubled down on all the pop culture jokes and it was f’n amazing—they never got tired or uninspiring.

How about the X-Force? A few familiar faces in there and what truly made their appearances that much better, was the fact that NO ONE expected them to go out like that! Action scenes involving X-Force members were specifically filmed for the trailers, not the movie itself, in order to deceive us. It worked! As disappointing as it was to see the aspiring superheroes perish, this was a brilliant twist considering everyone was lead to believe X-Force were going to have important roles in this sequel. It was downright hilarious to see this turn of events in a superhero/action movie, period. In regards to Vanisher, very few people expected to “see” this character in the movie, so no doubt Brad Pitt being revealed as this invisible guy is a stunning moment to most viewers.

Speaking of cameos, Matt Damon actually played the redneck going on about toilet paper...LOL...and his buddy was played by the more recognizable Alan Tudyk; I know I was far from the only one not aware of this priceless cameo the first time. The X-Men cameo, btw, I adore it. Granted this makes the X-Men timeline more convoluted than ever, but hey, this is a Deadpool movie. As for those post-credits, Deadpool killing 2009 Deadpool and THE Ryan Reynolds, that has nothing to do with the next X-Men installment. It was simply our hero redeeming himself and doing humanity a service. :D And DP going back in time and saving Vanessa & Peter was DP doing what anyone in his situation would. Moreover, by saving Peter DP might consider bringing back the other members of the failed X-Force. There is an upcoming X-Force movie after all. And if you’re wondering, yes, saving Vanessa along with his X-Force pal is canon.
