Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan are both excellent in this well made, beautifully filmed biopic. I would rank it as the 10th best film of the year. 8/10
shareFor me it is a solid bio pic. sadly the focussed not very much on music but that was of course the lesser interesting part for a drama - so I understand the choice.
shareOne of the worst movies I've seen from 2023, I can't give it more than 5/10.
There was nothing interesting in this movie.
Three only sightly emotional or engaging part was maybe her disease, but even that part was done better in many other movies.
The rest was just "artists being artists", and "us artists, darling", "oh are you an artist also, dating?", "oh this is something we artists do, darling".

It's an ok movie. But not even the best movie that came out in December. Felt slightly disappointed by it mostly. The movie is not really about the maestro or why his wife was important to making him a maestro, other than providing a straight family life to present to the world.
