Shape of Water is plagiarized/stolen.

Shape of water was stolen. It's not original. So the movie up for oscars just because the producers guild wants to demonstrate Latino diversity is also a stolen copyrighted play.

It never ends....

It was also a stupid and disgusting movie. And you just nailed Hollyweird's motive.

You are inaccurate. The state film commission in The Netherlands even confirmed that this is not the case. Daniel Kraus, the Shape of Water's principle writer, came up with the story when he was 15 (which was well before 2015).

I don't know what axe you have to grind, but sometimes you just feel like attracting attention. Good for you.

Lol, the state commission!

Many developed nations have a state film commission that shepherd and assist in the production of domestic films as well as foreign ones shooting on location.

So in the original a cleaner tries to save a dolphin.... even if the writer knew this obscure 1969 play, it could still be a springboard to his original idea of a monster.

This movie is ripping off Free Willy!

Save the WHALE!
