Sick of Hollywood back slapping.
First, let me state I did actually enjoy this film. What is it with the Oscar voters though and their fixation on celebrating themselves and their past? This movie referenced it, LaLa Land, The Artist etc.
Honestly, it's getting a bit boring now. The 'golden age' they seem to fixate on is extremely well known to the vast majority of movie goers already. What are we actually learning here at this stage?
Self indulgence at its worst in my view.
