She sure ain't her father. Why does Hollywood keep throwing her money . There are so many more worthy young directors to be given a chance

She has an Oscar, Golden Lion, Emmy nomination, critically-acclaimed films. She's doing just fine.

That's your opinion and your welcome to it. However, it's not a fact. Personally, I like her style. Some of her material is better than others. But she is talented.

Agreed. She's terrible?all style and no substance. She only gets work and fame because of her name.

She is brilliant at creating mood and atmosphere, one of the best. Her films are maybe minimalistic in terms of plot, but she certainly knows how to show characters getting over boredom and ennui with real human feelings and dialogue.
