So now it's suddenly okay to change skin colors.

People were mad when they made Tiger Lily white in 2015. What happened since then? Why is it suddenly okay now?

IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN OKAY...AS LONG AS YOU ARE CHANGING THE CHARACTERS SKIN COLOR TO WHITE...THE TRUTH IS...THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT...AND THE ENTERTAINMENT IS PROVIDED BY ACTORS...LIKE IT OR NOT...THESE DAYS...ACTORS ARE QUITE THE DIVERSE BUNCH...AS IS THE REST OF THE WORLD.

I wish people had the same forethought as you. If only the same outrage didn't have the same impact if they changed diverse bunch to the opposite as well.

It’s OK to change skin colors as long as the character was previously white and is being changed to a person of color.

Not sure if you know about this channel but it’s called “Cinematic excrement”, it used to be hilarious but now it’s painful to watch because every episode the guy goes on a rant about how Republicans are evil, stupid and racist, etc. , etc. , etc. But literally when he was reviewing The Last Airbender he bitched that the kids were played by white kids and that Shamayalan was “white washing” the source material and that because he was a minority himself you’d think he’d want to give more opportunities to minorities, hmmmm sounds like he’s trying to dictate how a person of color should behave. But then he pulls a complete 180 on his Fant4stic review and says “and believe it or not, a whole bunch of people who were probably voting for Trump complained because (the character played by Michael B. Jordan) was BLACK (sarcastically)”. So basically in the case of The Last Airbender it’s not OK to race swap characters, but in the case of Fant4stic it is and if you don’t like it then you’re racist. Basically:

- It’s racist to race swap characters from minorities to white people
- It’s racist to complain about race swapping characters who were white and now are played by minorities.

Seems very very contradictory (not to mention in itself racist). But I’m sure the SJW crowd will jump down my throat and say something along the lines of “it’s OK because minorities have been traditionally discriminated in the past and have largely been ignored by Hollywood, because of past injustices we need to have two different sets of rules for people based on skin color”

No it isn't. It is ok when white is changed to another color: that is inclusive. But it is not ok to change another color to white: that is racist.

That is dumb , keep her Native American. I am all for diversity, being a woman of color, but Hollywood does get ridiculous at times.
