Why didn't she kill 001 instead of herself?
shareYeah, I thought that too.....even if she still planned to kill herself....over the combination of grief over David's death and to ensure that this program running in her mind could never be accessed again....she still should have killed that prick first before offing herself.
We, as the audience never did get the satisfaction of seeing him get killed.
He lived and the resolution to it all was emailing the director in the future....not to send 001 as if was going to fail.
Technically, he got to kill and torture and torment hundreds of people with no comeuppance (counting all of the patients at the hospital, Marcie was brain damaged due to him, all of the travelers he captured and tortured and killed, his therapist was killed so he could access her host body....causing the war between the travelers and faction.
I wish the prick had gotten a long, gross and painful demise.
It's been a while since I saw this and I don't have a great memory so this is like you're speaking another language lol.
I do remember how sweet David was though, and being reminded he died is kinda sad. One of my favorite scenes in the show was the flashback to he and Marcie first meeting in the alley.
I recall they met again after the reset(?) but it's not the same.
