Could’ve fooled me. With all the behind-the-scenes footage on the Cats DVD, I was under the impression that Webber was pretty proud of this film version.
Then again, this is a writer that is not known for making the best decisions when it comes to adaptations of his own work. Being the multi-millionaire that he is, he is usually in full control of his projects and it still blows up in his face. Time and again. It’s his own fault.
