Better than 3rd instalment. A great backstory.

This was better than I expected. I went into it knowing that it didn’t get great reviews.

But as it started back in the 60s I was enthralled. I had no idea that we were getting the origin story. I liked the use of a whistle to represent a call to the mother (protector), as a means of communication, and a link to the past.

The comedy was good, especially the flirtatious Tucker.

Only the first jump fright got me (sprinting ghost in bedroom).
But not all frights have to be jump frights. I like psycological frights, the idea that a “victim” could be a perpetrator as well. Maybe many disturbed people are actually victims of possession.

I recommend this to anyone who likes to ponder the psychological nature of hauntings, demons etc.
