Bulls fee

How much do you think it would cost to hire him and his team

I'm sure the pilot in tonights episode does not have a lot of money

reply

I believe at the beginning he was hired by the airline itself, who also paid her first lawyer.

reply

Millions. No airline pilot would be able to afford him. It would have had to be Pro Bono for the Legal and the advisory services both. The show never addressed the latter.

reply

The show doesn't address a lot.

reply

But when she fired her lawyer, why would the airline keep paying? She refused the settlement, the airline would have not continued on in paying Bull's services.

Yet another gap in this show's writing. He was basically working pro bono.

reply

Unless he got them to sign a contract for his services and it did not stipulate using their lawyer. Seems unlikely since they were planning on settling all along.

reply

I was thinking the same: his services would cost a fortune! Not even a small one

reply

He offered her his team's services. She didn't seek him out to use them. Then when she fired her attorney she said she couldn't afford a new one and he offered his attorney's services.

reply

Those points aren't under contention. The problem is that just looking at his business, it is clear that it takes a lot of money to run it. And he did offer his services, and it seemed to be pro bono. But the question some viewers are having difficulty with is how he can do cases for free. He used his staff and the 12 mirror juries and even offered his in house lawyer. All, without collecting money in return.

I wish, as someone had suggested, that there was a "guardian angel" mentioned, someone with a ton of money and reasons to want to equalize the judicial system. It would allow Bull to take wealthy clients, like in the pilot episode, but also help people like the pilot in the second episode. It's a distraction that sorta needs to be addressed. In reading the comments here, it's obvious that this point takes people out of the show and isn't something where the usual "suspension of belief" works.

But... but... but... you are just a "hater" and a "negative nancy". Just don't watch the show! Nananana boo boo stick your head in doo doo... 😄
