1989 cartoon was better.
I enjoyed the film, it is different enough from the 1989 version to be worth a watch.
The singing was decent, the characters fleshed out more and a few parts of the plot were expanded, which was good. The image on the screen was too dark with not enough contrast compared to the 1989 cartoon.
Bailey is a good mermaid, not Madison good, but good enough. The people losing their minds over her skin color are insane.
