Boycott this movie!

These remakes are getting tiresome, Disney shouldn't be messing with a movie that already has a near perfect original, not to mention that they completely cutting Scar's Be Prepared song from the movie which is already pissing a lot of people off.

It's like Disney isn't really trying any more.... it's lost its creative spark and is just recycling already successful originals. I believe that by boycotting these Disney remakes we'll get the message through that we want movies with new and original ideas like back in the good old days.

The need to keep making these remakes until we get a "the little mermaid" one. I just NEED that

I'm not comfortable with calling for a boycott on any artistic product. Too many people work too hard to produce something entertaining, even if I personally find the project pointless, I don't think anyone has the right to sabotage a film by calling for a boycott.

If you're not interested, just choose something else to watch. There are plenty of other options.

It wuz a toon. Oftentimes it’s bec it’s harder 2 make it as a real life film but now the can wid 2day’s tech.

They basically will remake all their toonz in2 real life moviez. It’s a new way of seein these filmz and I won’t let nostalgia get in da way bec it’s not mutually exclusive. I can enjoy bofe.

A realistic "toon"..

Absolutely right, my dude. A live action Brave could be amazing!

I really liked the Aladdin, Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast live action remakes, so I say keep 'em coming! Maybe it's because I go in with extremely low expectations, but I always leave satisfied!

That's a lie. Stop spreading bullshit.

Be Prepared is actually included. I see you wrote your post 7 months ago. Perhaps you should have waited to see it first....

Also, if you think a remake can tarnish and original, then you can't be that secure in your appreciation/love for it in the first place. If you truly love an original, whatever that may be, then no amount of re-hashes would change that.
And it's not that Disney lost its creative spark, they're re-modelling a best loved classic, to see it again all fresh and new for this day and age. I'm a HUGE fan of the original since day one back in 1994. When I learned they were making this over a year ago I couldn't wait to see it! I love this version. I was not disappointed!
