The Purge has completed its ten episode run and has been renewed for a second season. I thought I would become bored but I wasn't. Thumbs up to the Purge!!!

shareI'm glad to see someone finally saying something positive about the show. personally I really enjoyed it and I'm still pissed that they cancelled it after 2 seasons. it wasn't exactly a thought provoking drama but it was never meant to be, like the films it was just mindless entertainment that shouldn't be over thought, and when I'm in the mood for some brainless late night entertainment the purge really hit the spot.
the show especially gets so much hate on these boards, mostly due to the dumbness of the whole premise, but I feel like the people complaining are the dumb ones because if you're looking for intelligent, thought provoking, high brow cinema then obviously don't watch the purge, i mean what did these people expect?
it's purely mindless entertainment and it serves that purpose very well in my opinion, I wish they were still making episodes.
