John Wick 3 Working Title Revealed – Production Starts Soon

Soon after the success of John Wick: Chapter 2, director Chad Stahelski made the announcement that John Wick 3 is definitely going to happen and now it looks like the third and final installment of the incredibly popular John Wick series is steadily progressing towards the production and casting phase.

According to a new report, Alpha Cop is the working title being used for John Wick 3 and the process of casting is going to start very soon. The movie is scheduled to release on May 19th, 2019 and Keanu Reeves has some pretty big plans for this one.

The working title has now been changed to “Parabellum”, which is Latin for Prepare for War. (Relates to a model of Luger Pistol, too.)

That is a far better and perfectly suitable title. Hoping this will be another action masterpiece. Ecstatic I am!

I’m pleased that “Parabellum” was kept in the title. :}

Why the final installment? They could make a ton of these.

I don't think it'll be the final one... They'll probably try to split it into two episodes...

I could watch these till the day I die

As long as the fighting choreographies don't become stale, they can pump out as many of these as they wish.

I rather have a brilliant/perfect trilogy over a franchise that loses steam and overstays its welcome. The latter could happen to the Wick series or not, but... the more Wick the merrier, huh?

If future films can potentially surpass or simply equal the last installment in the Wick series (not just in terms of first-rate choreography - but match them in nearly every aspect), then by all means they should pump out more of them!

But again it would be fine if they decide to end things with the third film assuming it’s a worthy follow up — or amazingly sets the bar even higher. While it is hard to picture the series succeed the way it has without Chad Stahelski involved, I would welcome more of these films..
