I can't help but think if it weren't for the gimmick of using the real life people in the film, this would be a pretty useless and uninteresting film.

Also, this one is a true story, so you would expect it to be interesting or compelling in some way.

shareWell I think they tried to make a movie about who they are when all that's really interesting about them is what they did. It took way too long to get to the actual robbery. It's not like they needed the money for some dramatic reason. I know the fact that they didn't need the money and weren't the "type" kinda makes them more interesting in reality, but in movie land that doesn't warrant an hour plus of character development.
shareAgreed. Story IS quite interesting actually. It's just not a long one. It has no arc. Maybe a 30-minutes docu-drama is more appropriate for this type of story.
